Saturday, June 5 -- Since is practically snowed when we tried this ride on May 8th, we are having a DO-OVER!

The plan is to leave the St. Paul capital and go to scenic Stillwater.  We will be taking the beautiful Gateway trail to County Rd 12, then straight into Stillwater.  There is a trail along the Counnty Rd (i.e., it has a good shoulder) so this will be some good road riding!  The trail is about 2/3 of the aprox. 20 mile ride to Stillwater, making this about a 40 mile ride.  We will be stopping in Stillwater for lunch, then heading back to the cities climbing up Myrtle hill, so get ready for some saddle time and a little bit of climbing!

The ride will start at 10:00 AM on Saturday May 8th at the St. Paul capital (75 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. ).  Meet at on the front steps. Be sure to bring water, money for lunch and anything else you may need for a ride (i.e. spare tube).  We should be back around 2:30, but speed and time are determined by the group.

Saturday, June 26 –  The 70-mile ride begins in Red Wing and travels down the Wisconsin side to Nelson and then back up the Minnesota side.

Riders should meet at the Caribou Coffee shop located at 726 Main Street, Red Wing MN 55066. The training ride will leave promptly at 8 AM. There will be unsupported rest stops at Stockholm, lunch at Nelson's cheese factory and then the last stop is the DQ at Lake City.

Riders will set the pace. Please visit the Habitat 500 website for regular updates. Ride will be led by LeAllan Estrem.
