Welcome Habitat 500 Volunteers!
Volunteers play an integral role in making the Habitat 500 a successful event. Whether you have participated as a volunteer before or this is your first year, we are looking forward to seeing you in July. This year’s Habitat 500 Bike Ride takes place the week of July 13-19, 2008 and starts and ends in Monticello, MN (about an hour northwest of the Twin Cities). Riders raise funds for the construction of Habitat for Humanity homes as well as build awareness and support for the mission of Habitat for Humanity. Through your contribution of volunteer support for the ride, we can keep the operating costs of the ride very low -- so $.97 of each $1.00 raised goes to build Habitat homes!
